Students apply methods for assessing capital investments and structures to reduce risk and maximize reward. They also apply analytical methods and models to investment decisions from the perspective of an investment manager. A total of 10 courses are required to complete the program. The online Associate of Arts in Accounting enables students to build a foundation in accounting. A total of 12 courses are required to complete the program, including financial accounting, advanced auditing, managerial accounting, accounting information systems, managerial economics and globalization, financial management, law, ethics and corporate governance, commercial law, and graduate accounting capstone. The program enables students to concentrate in five areas: corporate accounting, international accounting, public accounting, taxation, and forensic accounting.
