Curriculum for a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Southern Utah University

These courses will give students a basic understanding of accounting and business. Some of the courses that these students must take include Accounting Principles, Business Law, Statistics, Financial Accounting, Tax, Accounting Information Systems and Advanced Accounting. Students will need to take all of these courses, a total of 49 credit hours. Once complete, or for those who already have an undergraduate degree in business or accounting, an additional 30 credit hours are needed. Courses including Business Law II and Accounting Ethics Seminar are required, but there are a number of electives that the student can choose from as well. The program can be started during any term, but must be completed within six years of starting.
