It prepares students for more advanced positions in the accounting field. The program prepares students for the Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Management Accountant examinations. The program requires the completion of at least 52 quarter credit hours. Students are able to concentrate in one of four areas: tax, government, finance, and audit. The core courses include Financial Accounting and Reporting, Regulation, Advanced Auditing, Ethical Issues in Business and Accounting, Advanced Manager/Cost Accounting, Corporate Tax Decisions and Strategies, Business Communications, Economics for Global Decision Makers, and Graduate Capstone in Accounting.

The program teaches students about the key accounting areas, including business law, auditing methods, accounting and financial reporting systems, and cost accounting. A minimum of 16 quarter credit hours is needed to complete the certificate program. The Bachelor of Science in Finance concentrates on assisting students in the acquisition of technical understanding and skills in an array of financial areas. The program prepares students to make advanced decisions based on the evaluation of financial information. Students must choose a concentration in financial planning or financial analysis. At least 56 quarter credit hours are needed for degree completion.
